Invitations 3.21.26

Dear Friends of Sacred Ground,
Here in Minnesota, we are experiencing the world waking around us. The red-wing blackbird returns, pussywillow buds emerge, dandelion weeds are waking up in the cracks of the sidewalk. Do you, like me, find your heart waking with the world?

Sometimes our hearts--our capacity for deep listening--are buried by grief or exhaustion; we find ourselves in a cold and barren landscape of soul. Nurturing practices of paying attention and gentleness are so vital to moving through and with these times.

This last week at Groundings, Felicia Murrell invited us to explore questions like: "What does living in the fullness of your humanity look like today?"
"What does Enough feel like?"
"Who are you in the eyes of Love?"

What happens in you as you encounter these questions? Felicia offered us one gentle invitation after another to let ourselves be Loved, to listen to Love's song for us.  After a long and heartbreaking winter, these invitations felt like spring. Like a burst of new life breaking through my heart or a chorus of bird song greeting the day.

This Monday, we look forward to sharing Diane Millis as she invites us to further explore what it means to be Advocates for the Interior Life. We would love for you to join us as we continue to deepen our listening and our connection with the Love that sustains the universe.

May our listening be graced. May you experience spring in your heart in the days ahead.

With Gratitude and Blessing,
Jessica Sanborn
Program Coordinator
