25.2.28 Beloved, Love Together

Dear Friends of Sacred Ground,

"For the Beloved dwells in every heart

that is open and receptive;

Into our hands, into our hearts,

does the Beloved surrender,

that we might do with Love

what we will."

~ from Psalm 33 in Nan C. Merrill's Psalms for Praying

These words, tucked between passages about nations, strike me as an invitation to a Collective Love. Yes, I want my heart to be open and receptive, and the experience of the Beloved dwelling in my heart fills me with transformative hope. And the need to love together, the need to love in and as a world-wide community, feels like a necessary invitation today.

How are we being invited to love with courage and creativity? How are we being invited to love collectively? The work we do at Sacred Ground is in service of cultivating such open and receptive hearts. Again and again, we are invited to return to Love.

If you would like a place to explore this invitation to love and be loved, I hope that you might consider some of the offerings below.

In unsteady, chaotic days, may we remain steady in Love.

With blessing and gratitude,

Jessica Sanborn (she/her)

Program Coordinator
