Join Dan Johnson and Jessica Sanborn, and connect with spiritual directors spanning the many seasons of direction. Through stories, poetry, and small group conversations, come explore the gifts found in each season of our spiritual direction practices. Whether you are a newly formed spiritual director or have been practicing for decades, together we will encourage and inspire one another to nourish and grow this ministry.
Dan Johnson has been listening to people’s spiritual stories for over twenty-five years. He sees this reflective listening and the prayer-filled dialogues that emerge from it as the central work of spiritual direction. Dan’s ecumenical sense and welcoming persona in direction have been well received by women and men, clergy and laity, as well as those just starting direction and those who have been in direction for some time. Dan is a spiritual director and the managing director at Loyola Spirituality Center.
Jessica Sanborn loves holding space for others as they explore their deep longings, big questions, search for meaning, and relationship with the Holy. She completed her spiritual direction training in 2019 at Sacred Ground Center for Spirituality, where she now serves as Program Coordinator.
