Carondelet Center

The Sacred Ground Center for Spirituality is adjacent to the College of St. Catherine, located in the Carondelet Center at 1890 Randolph Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55105. This stately building was constructed in 1912 as the novitiate for the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet (CSJ) St. Paul Province. Carondelet Center is a quiet place of rest, prayer and reflection. The center is well suited to host small to mid-size retreats and workshops in spiritual development. The building is handicap accessible for day events only.

A labyrinth for outdoor prayer and meditation is available on the Carondelet grounds. For more information about Carondelet Center, go to www.carondeletcenter.org.

Overnight accommodations are available to those desiring an extended private retreat. Sacred Ground Spiritual Directors are available for individual appointments.

From I-94
Take Cretin/Vandalia Exit.  South on Cretin about 2 miles to Randolph Avenue.  East (left) on Randolph.  After crossing Cleveland, take the first driveway past the entrances to the College of St. Catherine (the last entrance is marked “Gate 5”).  The Carondelet entrance has a large sign “CSJ, Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet”.  Parking is available on the Carondelet propriety.

From 35E
Take the Randolph Exit.  West on Randolph about 2 miles.  After crossing Fairview, take the second driveway into the Carondelet Center with a big sign at the entrance, CSJ, Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Parking is available on the Carondelet propriety.

From the Airport
Take 494 East to Highway 5 (to St. Paul) to the Edgecumbe Exit.  Edgecumbe becomes Fairview.  Follow Fairview to Randolph.  Go West (left) on Randolph.  Take second driveway into the Carondelet Center with a big sign at the entrance, CSJ, Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Parking is available on the Carondelet property.
